Originally teased in a brief video uploaded in January, there is a new addition coming to the AJ Fernandez New World line. When asked by Cigar Public contributor @OGTcigars, AJF Cigar Company shared that they plan on shipping the Dorado out to retailers within the next 2-3 weeks. What began as AJ’s first collaboration with his father, Ismael, the New World line has grown to what will now be a total of five offerings – each available in multiple sizes. The entire line itself is described by the company as a a nod to the discovery of tobacco and its introduction to the rest of the world in 1492.
AJF says that “the latest release in the New World Series provides a journey inspired by one of the world’s greatest tobacco growing regions. The all Nicaraguan blend is mostly from AJ Fernandez’ Dorado farm, which he aptly named due to its golden texture and taste.” The wrapper is Nicaraguan sun-grown Habano and the binder/filler are Nicaraguan.
