EL MAGO: Miami Art Deco

The roll and pack were noticeably well done with eye catching symmetry. Some green splotches on the 2nd sample. The burn was relatively carefree and even throughout both samples. The draw, while feeling a little firm, was very generous with the smoke output. The smoke had a pleasing powdery texture with a long, peaty finish. The flavors were rather foresty in the first third, before transitioning to a more savory, nutty character in the middle third, and finishing with fruity and floral notes in the final third. Lots of complexity, nuances, and transitions in this smoke that were a true pleasure to experience.

Pairing Recommendations:  An iced herbal or fruit tea would be a fine pairing with this cigar. Cognac, spiced rum, or a Lowland Scotch would also be good choices.

Smoke Time: 1 hour 20 minutes.
