Not typically a lover of bigger ring gauges, so I went into this admittedly on skeptical side. The wrapper was a very handsome rosado, with a grocery bag feel on the surface, an even and firm pack, and a very even roll. Draw and smoke output were solid with a somewhat jammy textured smoke. The burn is a little wavy, but not problematic, and with a solid white ash. The second sample had a much more open draw and a very good burn line. The flavors were certainly on the milder side, but very enjoyable, with granola, trail mix and dried fruit notes throughout, and a very nice amount of cream in the middle third. The texture and flavor really dries out in the final third which did bring the score down a notch or two, but still a very good experience Could work well as a morning or early afternoon sort of smoke my leaving enough strength on your palate to still enjoy something else later in the day. Would go great with a latte or cappuccino, a pina colada, daiquiris or just dark rum on its own. Total smoke time: 90 minutes.

Hiram & Solomon Cigars, founded in 2015 by Fouad Kashouty and Brother George Dakrat, is a unique cigar company deeply entrenched in the principles of Freemasonry. Drawing inspiration from the biblical figures Hiram Abiff and King Solomon, key figures in Masonic lore, the company creates high-quality cigars, each line reflecting a different facet of Freemasonry. The company’s dual mission is to provide an engaging medium for discussing the values of Freemasonry and to support Masonic charities through a portion of their sales proceeds. Today, the company is run by Fouad and Romy Kashouty. The brand’s cigars are currently crafted at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic.
