This cigar is a bit larger than what I prefer, but I was buckled in for the ride. The wrapper is soft, almost velvety to the touch and has some blemishes and discoloration on both samples. The burn is wavy throughout but always manages to eventually correct itself. The smoke production is excellent. I felt like a fog machine on steroids.
One aspect I wasn’t a huge fan of was the finish, which is very dry. The first third and final third were enjoyable, however the second third seemed to lose a little bit of balance in the flavor profile. Overall, this is a good cigar but I am curious what the experience would be like in a smaller ring gauge.
