Typically, cigar makers draw attention to their new releases with social posts, blurbs, photos and quotes. Villiger is many things, typical is not one of them. Earlier this week, without drawing any attention to it, they started sending this year’s Exclusivo USA 2022 out to retailers.
This 2022 blend was produced at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona Factory and consists of a Nicaraguan Habano Rosado wrapper, Nicaraguan binder from Esteli, and Nicaraguan filler from Esteli, Condega and Jalapa. Two formats are being made available, a 6 x 52 Toro and a 6 x 54 Torpedo. Already carried at over 500 cigar retailers in North America, including Privada, chances are there could be a shop near you that has Villiger and may be receiving these.
