Crux Epicure Maduro Robusto

This cigar begins as a pepper bomb, is bold and came to dance. The aroma is great pre-light, mellows in the middle but shows back up at the final third. This is not a morning cigar, unless you like to wake up with a splash. I did expect a little more from the body of the cigar as the texture of the smoke was lighter and finer than the flavor demands.

This was a spice and black pepper bomb right off the bat. Also strong hints of espresso.

The spice and pepper calms down some and a presence of mesquite or charred wood shows up.

Black pepper transitions into cayenne while the cocoa and espresso notes remain present.
