Final thoughts, although I’m not a fan of a box-pressed, the cigar was a pleasant cigar to smoke. The best part was all the creamy sweetness and cedar notes at the start. The only downside was the final 3rd which started to turn bitter the more I smoked it. Would I smoke it again? Definitely. The best thing I can think to pair this cigar with is a black coffee or cafecito.

On the light I get notes of tobacco, nuts, and Earth. The retro brings a nutty cedar with a strong white pepper. Into the third, sweet cedar in the front followed by a Woody note. Black pepper and a slight citrus zing on the finish. The retrohale brings out the cream and cedar and ends with a lot of red and black pepper. Ash is nice and tight and the draws fantastic. Creamy thick smoke, the strength is medium plus.
Starting the second third, more of the same. A sweet note is introduced that replaces the citrus note. Further into the second third, strength is picking up to a full. Ash is loose and flaky but still holds over an inch. Smoke is still thick and full. Notes of cream and cedar are at the forefront and backed up by an oak and black pepper. On the retro, still slight cedar and faint cream With a white pepper finish. Starting to get a cinnamon tingle on the tongue and in the finish.
Starting the final third most of the flavors have started to blend together and kind of get lost. Strength still hovers around the full. Notes of wood and cedar are the main flavors. white pepper and oak with a slight cinnamon spice on the retro. The more the third goes, the more the sweet notes tend to leave and turn to a more charred oak and coffee flavor. The retro is white pepper forward with a Cedar on the finish. Finishing out the cigar I’m still left with the same notes as before but slightly more bitter. More of a bitter coffee on the palate with a cedar on the retro.
