Review: Baja Blast by Chico Rivas

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

Score Justification: The largest chunk of points were lost to flavor enjoyability. There was an underlying mustiness that just got in the way for me. The draw and burn were very solid and the wrapper cracking did not at all hinder performance.

Final Thoughts: Immediately I noticed thick and very visible veins, with some severe wrapper cracking in what I imagine to be the area of where the band was. Flavor wise, this wasn’t really my jam.

Stallone Alagan Review: The Brand

Four years in Privada’s signature coolers – this gem is now a flavor powerhouse.
Crafted by Chico Rivas at Manufactura Rivas in Tamboril, Dominican Republic – a Dominican puro not quite like any other.  Thick, syrupy smoke with deeply sweet notes of molasses and warm caramel. Complemented by zestier, effervescent notes of citrus, herbs, cinnamon, and mineral salts – a truly complex profile.  Four years of meticulous aging have created a beautifully balanced and layered smoking experience for this 4.75 x 50 robusto. If you love Dominican cigars but find that Dominican-only blends are sometimes missing something or leave you wanting more depth – this is for you!
