Score Justification: This cigar lost practically no points. The burn was slightly off but other than that, it was on point.
Overall Thoughts: This cigar changed my mood. It was perfectly constructed; firm even pack, perfect draw, and had a flawless wrapper. The draw was literally perfect. The smoke output and texture was amazing. Billows of creamy smoke that kept pouring off the cigar after each puff. The flavor notes exploded with depth. They were pronounced and deep. The finish was long lasting and I kept glancing at the cigar in disbelief. I got excited about a 1/2 inch in and that’s when my mood changed. I thought this was going to be just another cigar, but I was strapped it for what turned out to be a roller coaster of flavor and enjoyment. I am a critical judge when it comes to cigars. Maybe because I am a self proclaimed aficionado, or maybe it’s because I take tobacco, cigars, and enjoyment very seriously. Either way, you need to smoke this cigar. Let it change your mood, and go on the roller coaster you’d never see coming.
Privada Spirits. We created the idea for Privada Spirits well over 2 years ago. We realized very early on that people love cigars and spirits but they rarely did it right or understood how to pair the two together at all. So we came up with a fool proof plan for knowing what spirit goes with what cigar. Even if you do not drink alcoholic beverages, these cigars are all fantastic on their own. To create the cigars we submitted our idea for Privada Spirits to 6 different factories. In the end, Tabacalera Perla, the same manufacturer that makes our beloved Paul Stulac, outperformed all. These cigars are all natural and use natural fermentation and blending to achieve the clear flavor notes that are hard to achieve. Each one is as good as the next and each cigar on its own, released by a boutique brand, would be touted as a must try stick. How we came up with all 5 of these in one line of cigars is beyond me and a testament to the power of the Privada movement.
