The wrapper had a rather attractive, light rosado coloring with a soft oil sheen on the surface. The seams were visible but tight, and the pack and roll were both sufficiently even. The 6×60 vitola has never been one that I have particularly enjoyed, with of course some notable exceptions. While the flavors, aromas, and smoke texture on this one were all very enjoyable, the cigar demonstrated why this vitola is one that I do not gravitate to. The draw hesitated throughout the first sample, and also required a number of burn touch ups. The second sample was much better draw, however the burn continued to be somewhat problematic.
I could see this working with cocktails like a Fuzzy Navel, or with a nice brandy. The flavor and body were gentle enough to be an early day smoke with a light to medium roast coffee.
