Excellent cigar! Love this vitola. Both review samples had the same tasty notes but one went a little overboard with bitterness for a brief moment in the 3rd before bouncing back. I will surely be picking up a grip of these for my humidor.
Pairing Suggestions: Tea, BBQ Chicken, Tequila, Cheese/Charcuterie.

Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés / Binder: Dominican Olor / Filler: Dominican
Vitola: Corona / Size: 6 x 42
Factory: DAV / Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Odorless. Well rolled with hidden seam, a light mottle and an oily appearance with a matte feel.
Light notes of grainy bread.
Grassy, hay, lively on the tongue.
No retrohale spice/burn right off the bat! Notes of charred wood (oak and cedar) with undertones of sweet & salty. Wavy burn lines but a tight, white ash spotted with oil bubbles. Further in it takes on a saline mouthfeel with a citrus zest and flashing notes of gumballs (generic flavor bubblegum).
Zest mellows to a clementine sweet bite. Wood notes get more savory hickory smoke. Hints of licorice root and again random touches of gumball.
Zest now puckers to a lemony side. A rich cedar spice finishes off the retro. Light charred BBQ notes remain on the palate. 3rd finishes out with a lemon tea spice.
