E.P. Carrillo has crafted a new cigar blend – Pledge of Allegiance – as an homage to the American dream. The blend combines their top-selling cigars, Pledge and Allegiance, into a unique creation. In the announcement video, available to watch below, the Lissette and Ernesto Carrillo shares the inspiration for the project. The company’s founder and namesake, who immigrated to the U.S. in 1959, sees the Pledge of Allegiance blend as a symbol of appreciation for the opportunities America has offered. It represents his own journey of achieving success as an immigrant, with the ability to establish a thriving business and provide educational opportunities for his children. The blend aims to capture the essence of the American dream and the gratitude the company holds for the country.
The 6 x 54 Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped offering features an Ecuadorian Habano bonder, and combination of filler tobaccos from the United States, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Expected to be made available next month around the same time as their 2023 Pledge Firecracker collaboration with United Cigars, just 1,776 boxes of the Pledge of Allegiance have been produced. Every box contains 10 cigars, each launching at suggested retail price of $20.
