This was an awesome stick that provides and even more interesting experience of flavor as you enjoy. I wish I had more. Definitely a flavor roller coaster between thirds and a nubber on the last third. Wish I had more of these to keep in the humidor.

Matilde, established in 1876 in Santiago de los Caballeros, was one of the first tobacco companies in the Dominican Republic, only to disappear in the early 1900s. A century later, in 2014, industry veteran Jose Seijas and his sons, Enrique and Ricardo, revived the brand. A year into his retirement, Jose had chosen to return to the cigar industry, focusing on small-scale production to craft the best cigar possible. Their first line, Matilde Renacer, marked a new chapter in Jose’s career. The name Renacer, meaning ‘rebirth’, symbolized not just the revival of Matilde, but also a shift in Jose’s approach from mass production to meticulous crafting, utilizing the best tobaccos and highly-skilled artisans.
