Pospiech Inc. has provided an official release date for the highly-anticipated addition to their Powstanie Habano and Powstanie Broadleaf lineups – a new Corona Gorda vitola. Kicking things off on on May 19th, their launch event is being hosted at Hogshead Cigar Lounge in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Crafted in Esteli, Nicaragua where Roma Craft Tabac produces their own blends – Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. – fans of both brands have been eager to find out more information. Not only will those present be the first to sample the new release, but Szczepankiewicz will be joining the Cigar Hustlers Podcast team on-site to meet with attendees and talk shop with everyone.

The Powstanie Maduro features a Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Indonesian binder, and a combination of Estelí ligero and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from Jalapa and the Pueblo Nuevo region of Condega. The Powstanie Habano utilizes an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Indonesian binder leaf. Within rests Dominican criollo, Nicaraguan Estelí ligero, and additional tobaccos from Condega and Jalapa. Measuring 5.5 x 46, the first allocation of the new size consisists of just 350 boxes. The Powstanie Habano Corona Gorda will be available for an MSRP of $11.90. The MSRP is set at $12.00 for the Broadleaf.
