Introduced at last year’s InterTabac in Germany, and teased just last month, a brand new line of cigars is on it’s way to shops this week. Lampert Cigars, who is releasing at least 3 projects from 3 different factories this year, has released the 1593 Edición Oscura. The new cigar represents just the second Maduro blend in the Lampert portfolio.
Crafted at the Ventura Family’s El Maestro Cigars in the Dominican Republic, the Oscura utilizes a San Andres wrapper, binder from Indonesia, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. The Oscura is launching in a Toro format, with plans to offer Robusto and Short Robusto formats before the end of 2023. The Toro has a suggested retail price of $16 and will be available in boxes of 10.
