Featuring the legendary brand’s storied Ecuadorian 151 wrapper leaf, Davidoff of Geneva will be releasing the Davidoff Millennium Lancero Limited Edition Collection on Thursday, April 6th at select Davidoff Appointed Merchants, premium cigar retailers and in all Davidoff of Geneva since 1911 flagship stores. Framed within the iconic brand’s “Cigar History Re-Rolled” concept, this is the second of four Limited Edition Collections that Davidoff has planned. The first was the return of the classic Davidoff No.1 in the form of the Davidoff Signature No. 1 Limited Edition 2023 back in January.

Today, the reborn limited-edition cigar once again stands representative of our ceaseless pursuit for perfection. It took our Master Agronomists 300 trials to create the special hybrid seed for this Ecuadorian wrapper leaf. Furthermore, the cigar’s pigtail format requires impeccable rolling skills, so only our most experienced torcedores touch this creation. I am convinced that this relaunch will make a difference for countless aficionados – be it appreciators of the lancero format and outstanding craftsmanship, collectors who enjoy the Millennium blend in its other highly acclaimed formats, or connoisseurs with a refined palate who wish to fill their time beautifully with this masterpiece.”
Balanced with the iconic 151 wrapper, Davidoff selected a Sumatra Seco binder from Mexico and a combination of Dominican filler tobacco listed by Davidoff as Piloto mejorado seco, Pilot seco, San Vicente visus, and Yamasá ligero. Retailing for a suggested $29 each – $290 for a box of 10 – there are 5,000 boxes of this 7 x 40 cigar for the entire U.S. market. As they did ahead of January’s Signature No. 1 launch, some shops with an online presence are have already started making their Millennium Lancero allotments available to customers via pre-order.
