Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

The cigar had a few visible crinkles in the seams on one sample and was a little knobby, but both had a uniform color and even roll. The draw from the first light was perfect with a generous smoke output. The smoke was just a touch south of medium with a fluffy and somewhat gritty texture. Cedar and florals of varying degrees were ever present with nutty nuances. A rather uncharacteristically strong nicotine presence on this one for a shade grown wrapper cigar. The final third was very dry on the finish, but the overall flavor profile was very pleasing and smooth.

Recommended pairings: Orange pekoe tea, ginger ale, and high quality pilsner all would make for great pairings.
Smoke Time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Stallone Alagan Review: The Brand

Nicholas Perdomo Jr. – the family’s third generation working with premium tobacco – started the modern day iteration of Perdomo Cigars out of his one car garage. That first year, 1992, he sold just shy of 10,000 cigars. Today, his thousands of employees are responsible for the production, sales, and distribution of tens of millions of cigars every year. The family grows their own tobacco on over 1,0000 acres of land spread across some of Nicaragua’s best growing regions. Instilled with the lessons learned by Perdomo’s Grandfather and Father, who at one point ran competing Cuban cigar companies Partagas and H. Upmann, the 4th generation is already being taught what makes a cigar a Perdomo.
