Launched in 2007, the Firecracker line from United Cigars quickly evolved to include what has become an annual Independence Day tradition. Each year, United collaborates with a different manufacturer to transform one of that maker’s most popular blends into United’s signature Firecracker format – fuse and all. Just a few weeks ago we brought you news of this year’s release. Today, United may very well have started a brand new tradition with the announcement of the perfectly timed St. Patrick’s Firecracker from All Saints Cigars.
The St. Patrick’s Firecracker has been limited to just 6,000 cigars – far less than the 20,000 made for this year’s 4th of July expression. Showcasing a wrapper of Ecuadorian Oscuro that enthusiasts will recognize from from All Saints’ St. Francis blend, the green Candela on this themed barber pole is added last. Crafted at Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. in Nicaragua, the binder and filler are entirely Nicaraguan. This new Firecracker will ship to select retailers in 20 count boxes at an MSRP of $8.00 per cigar and $160 for a full box.
“St. Patrick’s Day deserves a little extra spark and the St. Patrick’s Firecracker is the answer. This was a special collaboration that led to several factory trips and the result is a beautiful blend capturing the All Saints profile with that Firecracker kick,” stated All Saints Cigars Founder Micky Pegg. “We’ve worked extremely hard over the years to offer a unique perspective on blends for our Firecrackers,” said Oliver Nivaud, Director of Operations for United Cigars. “Celebrating any holiday with a Firecracker is a great start.”
