Nelson Alfonso of Selected Tobacco will again be releasing a limited set of Byron Humidors. Made available just once a year as part of this ongoing annual series, almost 23,000 cigars currently occupy 900 special, numbered humidors for this year’s alottment. There are 300 sets of each of 2023’s cigars: Byron 19th Century Grand Poemas, 20th Century Habaneros and 21st Century Elegantes.
All three limited selections feature Ecuadorian wrappers. The 19th and 20th Century showcase binders of undisclosed origin. A combination of Nicaraguan, Peruvian, and undisclosed tobaccos tobaccos are listed as the fillers for these two blends. The 21st Century utilizes binder from the Dominican Republic and lists Peruvian and undisclosed tobaccos as filler. In terms of formats, The 19th Century is 6 x 56, the 20th is 6 x 54, and the 21st is 6.125 x 55. The humidors are scheduled to ship in March at an MSRP of $925.
