Chogui Dos77 Corojo

Cigar had a beautiful flawless matte wrapper. The 1st third started slightly harsh, but eventually became very silky smooth and creamy with rich dark notes. The woody must notes reminded me of being in an old dusty woodworking shop. This would be the perfect cigar to have after a brisket dinner or with some sea salt chocolate.

Wrapper: Sungrown Corojo / Binder: Dominican / Filler: Corojo, Havana Vuelta Abajo (HVA), Piloto Mejorado

Vitola: Rogusto Extra  / Size: 5.5 x 50

Factory: Manufactura Rivas / Country of Origin: Dominican Republic

Chocolate, Hay

Chocolate, Saw Dust

Rich Cocoa

Rich Espresso, black pepper, charred cedar, leather, toasted almonds, cream

Chocolate, cinnamon, a musty mineral note, more sweetness, hint of citrus

Notes from 2nd third remain consistent, with BBQ and toasted wheat coming forward.
