The cigar had a loose draw to begin, so getting notes off the cold draw proved to be a bit difficult. The wrapper looks good with an even color. The first third began with bitter/harsh notes – which concerned me – but it then quickly transitioned to oak and hay. There was a lot of smoke output, likely due to the loose draw. Initial burn issues occured on both samples, but they self corrected. I enjoyed the nutty notes present throughout both samples.

I grew up in a Cuban family. Cigars remind me of significant events in my life such as my childhood, proposing to my wife and celebrating with friends. After mostly smoking Padron, I branched out and experienced the world of tobacco. My pallet was surprised by the many flavors and blends the industry had to offer.
