Acosta Cigar Co. La Lujuria

Both cigars had a very chocolaty and toothy look. A few blemishes, but nothing extreme. On both cigars, the burn started razor sharp but finished slightly tilted. But not to where they needed touch ups. The flavors seemed similar through and through. Only they jumped around from third to third on what took the lead. Overall the cigar was pretty enjoyable. A nice cup of black coffee would pair great.

Note: As always, I complete my reviews paired only with water.

At light up and going into the first third you get a very chocolaty flavor. Some earthy and cedar to go along with it. Also, a slight cinnamon sits on the tongue. The ash is nice and white with a razor sharp burn.

Into the second third. The earthy flavor come strongly upfront. The chocolate seem to have muted and black coffee came into it place. Some cedar is still in the background. On the retrohale, I’m getting some white pepper and cedar. At this point, the burn is slightly tilted.

Entering the final third, the flavors seem the same as the second third. Only black coffee taking the lead. Hints of chocolate are trying to step in. Still that white pepper on the tongue and retrohale. The burn never got back to razor sharp, but not to where any touch ups were needed.
