The contents of the last Privada Cigar Club monthly subscriptions of the year have just been revealed! Members have been eager to find out what December’s selections would be, and expectations were high given everything the club did in 2022. This year included the very first PrivadaCon, the release of 6 regular production lines, and special collaborations with A.J. Fernandez, J.C Newman, Epic Cavalier, Blackbird, Paul Stulac, Santana of D’Crossier, Hendrik Kelner Jr. of KBF, and so many others. We won’t spoil the contents of any of the December boxes for anyone who hasn’t seen the video yet, but be sure to watch until the very for a special new product unveiling!

Starting this Monday, December 12, J.C. Newman is giving cigar heads a chance to win cigar related prizes every day during their 12 Days Of Giveaways. Never ones to do anything halfway, the 127 year old family operation is offering a total of 78 individual prizes. You can enter every day over on their Instagram page for a chance to win everything from cutters to humidor and ashtrays. Have you had your eye their their new ashtray with the throwback vintage design? That is just one of the many collectible pieces ready to be won. In the 6 months since Cigar Public launched, Favilli has been front-page news on no less than 6 occasions. Already thinking in terms of 2023, they’ve just teased the next release in their Factory Blend series. Following up on August’s drop of Factory Blend – L, which was well received, we now have our first look at January’s Factory Blend – B. Featuring a wrapper of Habano Oscuro, no additional information is being provided about the blend at this time.  For everyone who is interested in enjoying and comparing both factory blends, there are a still some L packs available at favilli.com.

All four formats of the Fosforo cigar are now being distributed by Pospiech Cigars and are already on their way to retailers. Fosforo is owned by Jeff Mouttet of Match Cigar Bar in Jeffersonville, Indiana – just over the bridge from Louisville, Kentucky. An ideal partner for national distribution, Pospiech already distributes Powstanie, FQ, Guaimaro, and Fable Cigars.  Pospiech owner, Mike Szczepankiewicz, shares that “this partnership will give Jeff the ability to fully focus on creating fantastic cigars and have his mind put at ease with all the other aspects of sales and customer service.” The blend utilizes an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. With MSRPs between 8 and 10 dollars each, the Fosforo is available in 10 count Corona, Robusto, Gordo, and Toro bundles.

Retailers are already preparing their websites for a new cigar on the way from J. London. According to Nice Ash Cigars – a member of the Limited Cigar Association – J. London’s Telephone Booth Series aims to launch a new blend every 4-6 weeks. Jonathan Fiant, founder of J. London, is said to be working with a family experiencing its 4th generation of tobacco cultivation and preparation. In addition to the expertise of a master blender with 4 decades in the industry’s most well known factories, the tobacco being used in this series is all aged at least 4 years and as many as 6. The very first cigar in the series, the Blue Telephone Booth, is limited to 600 packs of 5 and will sell for between $14 and $15 MSRP.
