Hiram & Solomon Shriner

The wrapper has some peach-like fuzz, slight discoloration with a medium/firm pack on both samples. Although not quite seamless, the overall appearance of the wrapper is pleasing to the eye. There's some bumpiness but it has no effect on the overall construction of the cigar, which is excellent. Both samples were fairly consistent with one another in flavor, however the second sample had a more noticeable amount of saltiness. This is an enjoyable cigar that I would recommend and happily smoke again.

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra / Binder: Indonesia / Filler : Arapiraca, Habano Jalapa, Habano Ometepe, Dominican

Vitola: Petit Corona / Size: 5 × 42

Factory: Plasencia Cigars S.A. / Country of Origin: Nicaragua

Citrus, barnyard, cedar, milk chocolate, cinnamon, black and red pepper

Milk chocolate, dried fruit, Amaretto, cherry syrup

Cedar, hay, dry grass, cinnamon, red berries, a flavor that reminds me of a protein bar

Cedar, milk chocolate, and black pepper on the palate with black pepper spices, coffee and chestnuts on the retrohale. Hints of citrus, earth, cinnamon, brown sugar, cashews and almonds. After the first inch there's a flavor that appears that reminds me of Coca-Cola.

Musty cedar, oak, earth, roasted coffee, dark chocolate with coffee beans and black/white pepper on the retrohale. On the finish there's some cocoa powder, saltiness, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and a chewy mouthfeel. The pepper spices linger on the tongue, lips and back of throat.

Cedar, espresso, peanuts, saltiness with the addition of an oily and cooling sensation. Charred meat and black pepper spices coat the palate. There's a faint caramel and nougat note on the finish. During the last inch the smoke produces a syrupy texture.
