The first 3rd had a light butterscotch note from the beginning. Through the retrohale, cedar began to come alongside the butterscotch to create a sweet cedar that was very pleasant. There was a bit of black pepper on the tongue, and came through the retrohale with the sweet cedar.

As it transitioned into the second 3rd, the butterscotch notes fell off and became a mild cedar note with sweet tobacco. Through the retrohale you could get a sense of all of the notes playing well with each other. At this point, it was a solid medium cigar.

The third 3rd surprised me. It still had that sweet sensation on the tongue, but the cedar turned into a light oaky musk, along with a nice straight tobacco finish. This may be due to the composition of the blend at each section, but that's the fun with each blend. All in all, it was a straight forward cigar with decent transitions and was pleasant to the palate. Definitely worth the 46 minutes it took to enjoy it.
