Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

The cigar had a dark, oily wrapper with a closed-foot presentation and a pleasing aroma to complement it. From the start, I had high hopes—or at least hoped—it would live up to its appearance. Long story short, it delivered. It offered the dark, sweet notes I expected, along with a wonderful balance of lighter flavors such as cedar, hay, and white pepper. The first sample easily could have scored 90+ for its excellent construction and smoking experience. Unfortunately, the second sample had a slightly tight draw and a wavy burn. Still, in my opinion, it’s a great stick, and I would gladly smoke more in the future. I’m hoping the minor construction issues in the second sample were just a one-off.
