Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

Such a wonderful cigar for me…I love a cigar like this that is fairly mild and easy going but extremely complex with copious flavor notes.

Stallone Alagan Review: The Cold Draw

Light grassy and hay notes. Slight bitterness

Stallone Alagan Review: First Third

Starts off with a nice, mild balance of hearty corn chip with a short, pepper spice…I’m not a big heat guy and this reminds me of how I just lightly dip tortillas in the spicy salsa my wife makes. Very pleasant. Further in a complex rotation of notes circulate, notably; cocoa, baking spice and ginger snap.

Stallone Alagan Review: Second Third

Transforms to a more sweet, hard candy note with a cinnamon and chili spice, much like a Red Hot (c) candy. The heat calms in the second half of third and the sweetness becomes more of an earthy cocoa with a cinnamon and baking spice finish.

Stallone Alagan Review: Final Third
Once again it completely transforms to another profile…this time it’s more of a floral spice with a toasty finish. Super complex with some take away notes of black tea, lemon, lavender and fresh cut herbs. Soon those complex notes blend into a Dr. Pepper (c) like spice and some florals return to finish it off.
