This one stumped me a lot with the complex notes. They weren’t my personal favorite in profile but it sure had a lot going on. The complexity on this cigar is what helped the scoring out.

Espinosa has proved with the Crema that “flavor bomb” and “mild” are not mutually exclusive terms. The cigar is mild-medium bodied, smooth and has notes of cream, wood, nuts, citrus, and a touch of pepper. The perfect smoke for someone who wants something flavorful with coffee in the morning.

Wrapper: Ecuador (Connecticut seed)/ Binder: Nicaragua/ Filler: Nicaragua
Factory: La Zona Factory/ Country of Origin: Nicaragua
Vitola: No. 4 (Robusto)/Size: 5.5″x52

Well rolled, dense, glitter like crystals on leaf. Light honey note.

Sweet, honey, light raisin and fig

Milk and honey. Wheat and graham

Despite my usual smoke pace, I quickly arrive to 1″ with an uneven burn. I begin to pick up notes of golden honey and wheat with a red pepper flake finish. Surprisingly mild, even the red pepper flake note. There is another note hiding in the background that I can’t quite make out, perhaps green pepper and/or ginger.

More honey with those mystery notes building up. Becomes a bit saline with a green vegetal note and dark fruit bite with a mild red pepper flake finish. It gets complex but muddled…Like an earthy bowl mixed with salty nuts, granola, grapes, acai and cacao nibs thats drizzled with honey and red pepper flakes. Second half becomes more of a shredded wheat and oat cereal with a tart red grape bite.
