Review: Cigar Cowboys Dama de Noche

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

A pretty enjoyable cigar with complex notes, rich but mild with a sweet decadence and little bit of heat. It took a score hit for the labored draw and uneven burn. But anyone who likes milder palate, aged cigars with a little heat in bigger gauge should give this one a try.

Stallone Alagan Review: First Third

A fairly mild retro from the jump. About 1/2″ in I am greeted with complex notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, semi-sweet chocolate and a touch of cola. A very white ash, neatly stacked on a slightly uneven burn line through a labored draw. End of 3rd the spice sharpens and grows richer with a dark chocolate undertone.

Stallone Alagan Review: Second Third

A buttery note develops in the second act and builds to a slightly charred buttered toast profile. Reminiscent of a buttered toastini drizzled with red pepper flakes and honey. The burn is steady but grows more uneven. Draw remains labored but not heavily so.

Stallone Alagan Review: Final Third
Becomes more red pepper flake forward with just enough honey/sweetness to cut the heat to stay on the milder side. Halfway in it becomes more rich and earthy in tone but with the same notes… The honey sweetness is just more of a darker raw honey vibe. Finishing off with a more after dinner profile of coffee with biscotti cookie.
