Review: Lanuza Mechudo Habano

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

This cigar was immediately appealing to me with its striking appearance. The exaggerated ponytail of tobacco on the cap immediately draws you in, and the lovely warm nut brown coloring on the Havana rapper with a soft oil sheen captivates the eyes even after lighting up the cigar. The draw does have some firmness which only serves to accentuate the purity of the flavor, and makes for a jammy, sometimes even juicy smoke texture experience. The flavor from start to finish is the most remarkable attribute however, with so much layering that it was sometimes hard to keep up. This was as close to a perfect cigar as I’ve ever had, and I want everyone to know about it.

Stallone Alagan Review: The Brand

In the bustling heart of Estelí, Nicaragua, a young tobacco
virtuoso is quietly crafting masterpieces. Raul Lanuza, a
third-generation Nicaraguan tobacco man, raised in the verdant
elds and bustling factories of what is swiftly becoming the new
Havana, is on the verge of stardom. While few know his name
outside of a select circle, Lanuza is poised to become a legend.
With the Lazuna Habano 5×50, his work speaks volumes. This
cigar, wrapped in the nest Habano Estelí, is a testament to his
heritage and his craft.
