The construction on both samples was near perfection with no need to touch-up or re-light and stacking dimes on the ash! If there was a bit more complexity behind the notes, along with a bit of chocolate intermingled and this would have scored above 90 for my palate. I would easily recommend this cigar in a 5-pack and smoke it in the morning!

Rare and unmistakably complex, Partagas Cortado is a first for the brand. Two firsts, actually. It’s the first Partagas crafted in Nicaragua, as well as the first to feature a Connecticut shade wrapper. Composed of a meticulous blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos cloaked inside an Ecuadoran Connecticut-seed wrapper, each puff gives way to flavorful hints of spice and creamy sweetness, offset by a peppery earthiness.
