Review: The Half Cookie by William Ventura

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience

Started off promising but both samples fought demons with continuous touch ups needed. However they both finished strong and very enjoyable. They just took hits on the burn aspect.

Stallone Alagan Review: First Third

Half an inch through a throaty spice the retro mellows to reveal notes of honey roasted nuts. Working through the third the honey roast note gradually morphs into a more sweeter honey note with some grain, reminiscent of Honey Nut Cheerios. Burn has been a bit wavy and required light touch ups to even out.

Stallone Alagan Review: Second Third

Into the second third it takes on a more dryer note of wine/oak/sherry with a light, buttery mouthfeel. This carries on until the end of third where a corn chip note comes to the forefront. More touch ups required.

Stallone Alagan Review: Final Third
A light spice finally comes into play, followed by slighty sweet cereal grains. Halfway through third a light tart note accompanies the aforementioned notes and a roasty cafe note rests on the palate post retrohale. At the very end it briefly becomes lightly floral/potpourri.
