PRESS RELEASE
October 28, 2024
Earlier this year Cavalier Genève created a special release cigar that was a shop exclusive for The Vault in Boise, Idaho. After its success, Sebastien Decoppet has decided to expand this brand to the global market for release in 2025. The project is called “The Green Jacket” in reference to the Masters golf tournament taking place every
year in Augusta, Georgia.
Decoppet states, “The decision was made to offer this exclusive release to our esteemed retail partners as well as part of our international distribution after the global interest generated with the original release for The Vault in Idaho. The cigar resonated with a considerable part of our partners and generated general interest globally. After discussions with The Vault in Idaho following the inquiries that we were getting, we agreed to make this a yearly limited production available to select retailers and international distributors of Cavalier through a pre-order system exclusively”.
Cavalier Genève Cigars opened pre-orders for the 2025 iteration early this month and will be closing the session on October 31st, a few days from now. Only Cavalier partners that will have communicated their orders to the Cavalier team, latest on that date will be receiving the product in 2025. No additional boxes will be produced.
“It is important to note that we will not be taking any new orders after October 31st of 2024 for the 2025 release and this product will not be available to any retailer or international distributor that will not have communicated their orders by that date. This decision is to ensure that all products will be rolled with enough time to rest properly in anticipation of the release next year.”
The Green Jacket is a 7″x47 Churchill size that comes in an 11-count box. 10 of the cigars are the 2025 blend that were the 2024 11th muestra cigar found in the original release boxes. These cigars have exclusive green inner circle bands. The eleventh cigar is the future 2026 blend which comes with a plain factory band to differentiate them.
