Review: The Not Cap’N

Stallone Alagan Review: The Experience
This was as close to perfect as it gets, losing only a couple points for burn.
1 of the 2 samples required some touch-ups, but had no effect on the experience.
Final Thoughts: A real pretty looking Connecticut shade cigar, flawless wrapper and a solid feel in the hand. I was certainly surprised by everything I was getting at pre-light; normally a shade smoke doesn’t wow that much at this stage. The body, foot and cold draw got me really excited to light this one up. This also means that expectations were immediately elevated. It absolutely lived up the hype created at pre light. One of the most flavorful and interesting CT Shades I’ve ever smoked. The smoke was thick and creamy, pumping out copious amounts of smoke and flavor. This will hold up to any pairing and for me could be enjoyed any time of the day. Box worthy is an understatement.
Pairing Recommendations: Peanut Butter Whiskey, Caramel Latte, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Skyy Cold Brew Vodka, After a bowl of Honey Graham Cereal or Cinnamon Toast Crunch, White Russian, Vanilla Frappé, Stout Beer
Stallone Alagan Review: The Brand

Welcome to an instant classic cigar brought to you by Privada Cigar Club and a small yet mighty factory in Costa Rica called PV Puros. Our relationship with PV Puros began over four years ago during a whirlwind period of growth. We discovered a treasure trove of aging cigars and saw potential that was too good to pass up. This particular cigar, with its sublime Connecticut Shade wrapped from Ecuador, might just rival my all-time favorite, the Cuban Link OG.

The blend, shrouded in a bit of mystery, skillfully balances new world tobaccos with traditional ones, resulting in a harmonious and potent smoke. With over four years of aging this cigar still packs a punch like a mule.
