This was a very interesting cigar. I haven’t had many like this one. The only real issue I had with it was the draw. It could have been a little better.
Pairing: I think a good margarita would go great with this cigar or maybe even Makers Mark.

On the Light: I get charred oak, black pepper, and slightly salty up front. A slight cracker note on the finish. Retro is red and black pepper with a strong sting on the sinus. Into the first I get a charred oak and almond with a bready sweetness. Black pepper on the retro. Slight pepper, salt and paprika finish. Ash is flaky and doesn’t last long. burn is wavy, but no touch ups are needed. Medium to full strength. Long finish. OK draw but slightly loose
Flavors up front are a smoky Hickory with a slight meaty flavor that’s followed by a nutty bready note. Retro brings a lot of Hickory followed by white pepper, citrus and more of the paprika that I had earlier. Finish on the lips reminds me of a smoked pulled pork taco. Lots of smoky, spicy, salty notes on the lips and tongue. Medium to full strength. Still a long finish. Ash is still flaky and doesn’t last long. The burn got a little tipsy and needed one slight touch up. Still a loose draw
In the final third this cigar is still leading with the smokey, hickory and meaty flavors followed by salt and black pepper note. The retro is hickory, with a slightly bready sweetness, followed by a spice and white pepper. This is a smooth, easy and interesting smoke to say the least. Still a long BBQ style finish. I’m not sure what to think about this one but I do think I’m enjoying it. Draw is still the same. Wavy burn
