PRESS RELEASE
Micallef Cigars is excited to introduce its latest release, the Micallef Red, a rich new addition to its Color Series that continues the tradition of delivering premium cigars at an exceptional value. Available in both Toro and Robusto sizes and priced between $7 and $8 per cigar, the Micallef Red joins the ranks of The Cigar Authority, 2023 Cigar of the Year, Micallef Black, and their PCA release Micallef Blue.
The Micallef Red, handcrafted at the renowned Fabrica de Micallef in Estelí, Nicaragua, delivers an elegant and layered smoking experience. It features a natural San Andrés Habano wrapper that brings out nuanced flavors of gentle spice and deep earthy undertones. At its core is a Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder, grown in Nicaragua’s volcanic soil, which adds an earthy sweetness that perfectly complements the Nicaraguan and Mexican filler tobaccos. Together, these elements create a smooth, well-rounded smoke that resonates across the palate with refined and satisfying flavors.
The Micallef Red will be available in a limited release during Micallef Socials and other launch events throughout September and October. Micallef Socials are a series of events hosted in partnership with select retail partners that celebrate our amazing Micallef Ambassadors and provide an exclusive opportunity to experience the Micallef Red before its nationwide release in mid-October.
Al Micallef, Founder of Micallef Cigars, commented:
“We’ve crafted the Micallef Red to be a memorable smoke, just like the experiences we share at our Micallef Socials. It’s about more than cigars; it’s about enjoying great moments together.”
Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars, added:
“We oversee every step to provide great cigars at great prices, keeping consumers loyal to family-owned retailers.”
Micallef Cigars remains committed to supporting family-owned brick-and-mortar retailers and creating exclusive experiences for cigar enthusiasts. By launching the Micallef Red through these special events, the company ensures that the most dedicated customers can try the cigar before its nationwide in-store release.
