In celebration of the continued success and excellence of Club Mareva Beirut, Casdagli Cigars proudly announces the launch of a limited-edition cigar – the Odyssey Exclusive Lebanon. The second club cigar for Club Mareva Beirut carries on the tradition of meticulously crafted cigars developed with our esteemed Lebanese partners. Following the success of the first club cigar created in 2020 for Club Mareva Beirut, the Origins cigar, which symbolized the strong bond Najat Abdo and Woody Ghsoubi, the founders of Club Mareva Beirut have forged with Jeremy Casdagli, founder of Casdagli Cigars, and Marko Bilić, founder of Cigar Club Mareva and the International Cigar Smoking World Championship, the Odyssey invites the smokers to embark on a celestial journey.
The chosen blend and vitola Gran Corona ‘A’ were personally selected by Najat and Woody. Over two years, they experimented with various blends, ensuring each leaf was perfectly aged and selected to create an extraordinary smoking experience.
“Woody & Najat have their cigar passions rooted in Cuba – something they have in common with myself. To celebrate this, we settled on a traditional Vitola from Cuba that is rarely seen today – the Gran Corona. The aged tobaccos chosen had also to emanate an aged Cuban cigar: creamy, full bodied with a smooth and medium strength. To work with this vitola was a most interesting and challenging journey requiring lots of patience – an odyssey in fact.” explains Jeremy Casdagli.
“Creating the Odyssey was an incredible journey of professionalism and dedication. We meticulously selected the tobacco over two years, ensuring each leaf was perfectly aged and blended. The Gran Corona size, a revered and traditional Cuban vitola, was chosen for its ability to provide an extended, celestial experience. As someone who loves space exploration, this cigar symbolizes the infinite journey of discovery and excellence.” adds Woody Ghsoubi.

The release of the Odyssey is restricted to 3,000 cigars. Each of the 200 boxes, containing 15 cigars, are numbered and bear the signatures of Najat Abdo and Woody Ghsoubi, the founders of Club Mareva Beirut. Since the launch of the Odyssey in May, Najat and Woody have hosted multiple private tastings and received a lot of positive feedback. Odyssey Exclusive Lebanon is exclusively available at Club Mareva Lebanon and can also be ordered globally.
