H. Upmann Marks its 180th Anniversary with a Limited Edition Cigar & Humidor Release

This year, to mark this milestone, Altadis U.S.A. will introduce the limited-edition H. Upmann 180th Anniversary cigar at the PCA Trade Show in Las Vegas.
Reflecting on 180 years of legacy, the H. Upmann brand was founded by Herman Upmann, a German banker who ventured into Havana, Cuba, with a vision that transcended banking and embraced the art of cigar making. Alongside his brother August, Herman Upmann crafted a brand that has endured through centuries, celebrated for its dedication to the cigar craft.
The Anniversary Editions
The celebration includes the release of a special Churchill size cigar, measuring 50 X 7, available in a 10-count box. This release is limited to just 5,000 boxes, making it a collector’s item for aficionados. In addition, Altadis U.S.A. will offer 180 special-edition, numbered humidors, each containing 50 exclusive cigars in a 50 X 6 Toro size, further honoring this significant anniversary.
A Collaboration of Masters
The 180th Anniversary blend is the result of a unique collaboration between Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernandez. It features a medio tiempo wrapper from a hybrid seed, subjected to an enhanced fermentation process. This collaboration has resulted in a blend that embodies rich flavors and a multidimensional complexity, showcasing the best of Nicaraguan tobaccos.
