When I started smoking the first sample I was worried. The draw started so tight that I thought I was going to have to put it down. When it opened up I was extremely happy. So happy I couldn’t wait to try the second one. I wassnt disappointed. Even though the first had an issue I was impressed how it still gave so much good flavors and how well it ended. A lot of other cigars would have just completely fell apart. I can’t wait to see what this is. I would love to sit and relax with this one.
Pairings: Pairing, anything would be good. I would love to see how a Dr pepper would do or a slightly sweet cold brew.

Pair, raisins, sweet tobacco
On the light: I get a sweet tobacco and spice. the retro is a pepper spice.
Into the first the draw was extremely tight on the first cigar but a lot better on the 2nd. The burn is straight with absolutely no issues. Medium body and strength with a short tobacco sweet finish. An okay smoke output with a slightly thin smoke texture.
Flavors upfront are fruit and floral notes with a sweet tobacco and Earth. a Cedar note in the background.
The Retro: is floral and Earth. the Cedar note is more pronounced
Into the second the draw on the first was still slightly tight but has gotten a lot better. On the second cigar the draw was fantastic. The burn is slightly wavy but nothing to mess with. Medium body with medium plus strength. The finish is slightly sweet and doesn’t last too long smoke texture has gotten more full.
Flavors upfront are floral and a slight pair mixed with a sweet tobacco.
The Retro: Mainly floral notes baking spice and almond followed by a slight cinnamon spice and white pepper
In the final third….. asking you shall receive. I really wanted the first cigar to fix itself and it did. the draw opened up completely on the first cigar and smoking like a champion. The second is still going great. The burn is great and the ash has been holding tight on both samples. at this point the cigar is a medium plus and strength and body and a medium finish. Smoke is a lot thicker and coats the mouth and is quite enjoyable. Flavors are coffee Earth Cedar with a floral note moving to the background.
The Retro: Brings out coffee Cedar and baking spice a slight pepper in cinnamon on the sinus
