Cavalier Genève Cigars is delighted to introduce the Domaine Rouge by Cavalier Genève as the latest addition to its Inner Circle cigar line. Making its debut at this year’s Premium Cigar Association trade show in Las Vegas next month, the Domaine Rouge joins the popular roster of regular production cigars offered by the brand. As a homage to the company’s history, this new release pays tribute to recently departed Pascal Decoppet, father of Cavalier founder Sebastien Decoppet. With its unique blend and thoughtful design, the Domaine Rouge is a heartfelt testament to the brand’s journey and the people who have supported it.
“Like the Inner Circle, which was created as an ongoing tribute to the people that support Cavalier Genève Cigars – some from day one, some as of yesterday, today and for some tomorrow, making every step of the way possible, creating jobs for so many, giving the brand a life of its own, the factory and all its people – the new Domaine Rouge is a legacy and remembrance of my father who I’m sure would have been as grateful as we all are to see Cavalier come so far,” shares Sebastien.
The name “Domaine Rouge” is inspired by the red-ish hue of Cavalier’s factory in Honduras, known as the Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco SA (FCT). This vibrant color is reminiscent of the rich history and tradition associated with the brand. The cigar boxes for Domaine Rouge are thoughtfully designed to resemble classic wine aesthetics, further symbolizing the shared passion for cigars and wines that bonded Sebastien and his father. Additionally, the boxes feature subtle visual references to Pascal, creating a meaningful connection between the product and its inspiration.
Launching in four sizes, the Inner Circle Domaine Rouge by Cavalier Genève offers enthusiasts a range of options to suit their preferences. The vitolas include Petit Robusto, Robusto Grande, Toro, and Figurado. The cigar is meticulously constructed using a Habano Jamastran Viso wrapper, Connecticut binder, and a combination of Habano Jalapa Viso, Paraguay Viso, and Habano Jamastran Viso filler tobaccos. Depending on the format, the suggested retail prices are listed as ranging from $14.10 to $15.40 in the U.S. market.
