Despite it’s slightly intimidating size, this cigar is smooth and easy going. Burn and draw were perfect on 1st sample. The 2nd sample had some burn issues and offered a second third that deviated from the experience of first sample. As a result, the first sample scored slightly higher than the second, but overall a nice smoking experience.
Epic Cigars is a boutique cigar brand founded by Dean Parsons, a former police officer from Canada. The company’s journey began after Parsons moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands to work in resort and property development. Finding a shortage of quality cigars for entertaining clients, he began importing premium cigars from the Dominican Republic, eventually deciding to create his own brand. Thus, the Epic brand was born. Acquired by Zander-Greg, owner of Nat Cicco Cigars, in 2019, Epic Cigars offers several popular lines. All of the company’s existing lines are produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera Von Eicken S.R.L.

Light brown with a slight mottling. Bitter florals, light perfume.
Cinnamon raisin bread. Light mushroom.
Earthy grain. Fiber.
Mild. 1″ in of thick fluffy stacks I get sweet notes of overbaked cookie. Cinnamon honey grahams with light spice to finish off the third. Sweet cinnamon spice bread notes.
Smooth and mild. Mellow cinnamon spice with rich graham cracker. Bready cookie, like unsweet cookie with too much flour.
Sweetness fades. Spice leans towards pepper. A floral, earthy roast comes into play. Finishing with an earthy, floral, bouquet left on palate.
