Drawing inspiration from his passion for classical music and his deep appreciation for Nicaraguan culture, Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA – of which Altadis U.S.A. is a subsidiary – is set to release the latest creation in his award-winning line, the Aging Room Quattro Sonata. This unique blend, named in honor of some of the most famous sonatas by maestros such as Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff, is a tribute to the rich and diverse landscapes of Nicaragua, from its scenic valleys to its majestic mountains. Nodal describes the Sonata as a symphony composed not with musical notes, but with meticulously selected tobacco leaves, lovingly cultivated by the dedicated people of Nicaragua, and destined to be savored by discerning connoisseurs in search of a unique smoking experience.
In creating the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata, Nodal once again joins forces with friend and frequent collaborator, A.J. Fernandez. Produced at the Tabacalera AJ Fernandez and expertly box-pressed with all Nicaraguan tobaccos, this partnership has resulted in one of their most distinctive and flavorful cigar blends yet. Echoing the fertile lands and welcoming spirit of Nicaragua, a country famed for its beautiful lakes and imposing volcanoes, the Sonata aims to deliver an immersive taste experience that is as memorable as the landscapes it honors. Available for purchase in June, the Sonata is launching in 6 vitolas, with MSRPs ranging from $13.02 to $14.98 per cigar. All but one format are ackaged in boxes of 20, with the exception of the Impromptu, which is available in a Figurado Box of 10.
Additional collaborations between Rafael Nodal and A.J. Fernandez are available from Privada Cigar Club.
