Room101, known for its innovative branding and popular blends, is reintroducing the 70-ring gauge format to the Big Payback line, a vitola that has been out of production since 2016. Created by Matt Booth, the Payback brand was introduced as a token of gratitude for loyal consumers. “It has been my life’s mission to produce a combustible vessel so engorged and far more magnificent than its standard counterpart in cylindrical presentation, and it’s my greatest honor to offer our people such a product that overflows with both girth and grandeur,” shares Booth, former owner of the Room101 cigar brand and current Creative Director with Scandinavian Tobacco Group.
Handcrafted in Honduras at STG’s HATSA factory, the Room101 Big Payback 70s feature a Honduran Olancho San Agustin wrapper leaf and a US-grown Connecticut Broadleaf binder. Within is a combination of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Dominican filler tobaccos. The Big Payback 70 measures 7 x 70 and will be available next month for a suggested $8.99 each. Packaged in 30-count boxes, the 70s have been announced as a permanent addition to the Big Payback line. Distributed by STG’s Forged Cigar Company, the 70s are currently scheduled be available at shops nationwide on June 1st.
The Room 101 portfolio is available at Privada Cigar Club and other retailers.
