Both review cigars were rolled well. Despite both being fairly snug, they burned steady and fairly even. One sample was quite a bit more grape/Syrah forward with the decadence hidden in background, lowering my overall enjoyablilty score on that one. They both had a sneaky + on strength, didn’t seem strong while smoking but finished with a light nicotine buzz. I will definitely grab multiple of these to see if more more are that buttery toast flavor that I personally love.
Reinier Lorenzo was born and raised in Cuba, growing up on a farm in Havana City. In 2008, just only 23 years old, Reinier left Cuba and came to the United States. After catching the cigar making bug from the Fernandez family of Aganorsa, he would work two jobs instead of one: Animal Genetics Lab Tech by day, HVC salesperson by night and weekends. With what he learned along the way, and continues to discover, HVC is in hundreds of stores and Reinier has opened his own factory – Fabrica de Tabacos HVC S.A.

Soft lavender, hint of sweetness.
Grape with sweet tobacco.
Bready, Honey Nut Cheerios. Snug draw.
Right off the bat a spicy churro retro. Once my palate adjusted it was a rich buttered, cinnamon-sugar toast. End of third cinnamon-sugar drops off to a rich buttered toast. Red grape peeks in to say hello.
Red grape comes to the forefront. Syrah like notes, sweetness and tannins balance each other out. End of third transitions to a fresh baked cookie, decadent but hot on the palate. Hints of floral lavender peek in briefly.
Gets robust in final third. Like dipping a biscuit into sweetened coffee. Mid way through, sweetness drops off to a general roast profile.
