Grassy and dried fruit
Tasty at light up, with some uneven burn. Good smoke production, x1 touch-up, a little pepper and spice on the retro with white flaky ash. Some nuttiness and saltiness with a hint of vanilla. A LOT cedar aroma!
Some dynamic range as the pepper and spice on the retro seemed to lessen. A grassy aroma and taste. One thing about the complexity of this cigar is how the spice on the retro is playing whack-a-mole…one second it’s there and then poof, it’s gone.
Very smooth, low spice and pepper. Flavor notes held throughout both sticks and the nicotine was (-) until the final third when it definitely hit (+). Very good stick!
