Cigar has a slightly oily sheen, tight seams, and a firm pack. The draw is on the loose side and offers little resistance.
Starting off, this cigar presents pleasant hints of cedar and a mild spice with a nice white pepper retrohale. There is a hint of leather coming through on a rather short finish. Smoke is butter smooth and the burn is nice and straight.
Getting into it, the cedar and spice have become more prevalent while the white pepper retrohale remains. An almost baked caramel has replaced the leather for a nice however still quite short finish. Smoke has taken a dryer turn and lost the smoothness that it began with. The burn wavered a bit but self corrected and continues burning nice and straight.
Finishing up the flavors turn to a toasty, nutty, spice with a pepper retrohale. Smoke is rather hot and dry really washing the flavors out.
